SYNTAX D+I helps UNIFEM with bilingual publishing projects

Amman, July 8, 1999, New York.

SYNTAX Design+Interactive , the multidisciplinary, multicultural design and interactive media agency, has today announced its first move into the US market by opening an office in the city of New York.June 8, 1999, Amman. As part of it's ongoing relationship with UNIFEM (The United Nations Development Fund for Women), SYNTAX Design+Interactive has announced the delivery of the 1998 Report of UNIFEM's Western Asia Office.

"Our experience in working with governmental and non-governmental organizations goes back many years," said Ahmad Humeid, CEO of SYNTAX D+I. "Such organizations are becoming increasingly aware that they need to project an appealing image to get their message through. That's why their turning to us to develop design and identity systems for their various projects."

SYNTAX D+I's work for UNIFEM during the past year included the creation of a new visual style for publications and reports, editorial design and printing services.

"Our approach balances the aesthetic and economic aspects when handling the publications of UNIFEM," said Salua Qidan, Art Director and Senior Partner at SYNTAX D+I. "We work within tight budgets and deadlines, but we always try to make the best of the available resources to deliver a final product that strongly communicates the message and reaches its target audience."
