SYNTAX Design+Interactive redesigns Royal Jordanian Airlines' in-flight magazine

SYNTAX Design+Interactive , a Amman, Jordan based design and interactive media consulting company, has announced the completion of the redesign project of Al Ajniha, the Arabic language in-flight magazine of Royal Jordanian Airlines, Jordan's national carrier.

The new image will first appear in Al Ajniha's October edition. The magazine has an estimated readership of 150,000 monthly and is distributed on all Royal Jordanian's flights as well as in its offices worldwide. Al Ajniha has been in publication for over twenty years, making it one of Jordan's most established magazines.

The redesign project has covered all aspects of the magazine's visual system, including its brand identity and cover design.

"We are proud to be partners with Royal Jordanian on creating a new visual style for Al Ajniha. This has been a very interesting experience for our staff and we really enjoyed working with RJ's management and editorial staff," said Ahmad Humeid, Creative Director of SYNTAX.

The SYNTAX team has been involved in numerous editorial design projects over the last five years. These include major undertakings for BYTE Middle East, Popular Science Middle East and Jordan's Royal Society for the Conservation of Nature Quarterly.

Announcing the publication of the October issue of Al Ajniha, Royal Jordanian said that the new image of its magazine puts it on par with international in-flight magazines and makes Al Ajniha stand out among the regional in-flight offerings.
